Send young bronx artist back to school

My name is Amirah Birt and I am a young artist originally from Philly living in the Bronx. I am currently in debt 4,300 with my school Parsons New School for Design. I am an illustrator and poet .I dormed for a semester for an emergency situation and now owe my school this amount and cannot return until it is payed off . It's almost like an opportunity taken away just to see how bad you really want it. One day imagine your life taking the wrong turn in which you no longer have control but simply going along with it for means of survival. Having to settle for less and settle for a regular life just to simply eat everyday . It's crazy that when your such a strong person and you loose what means the world you finally see yourself crumble for a bit . You finally see yourself at your lowest point. As if your no longer alive simply an empty vessel . Almost as if your a kid again learning to live again to breathe again to create again . I haven't been Amirah this time I've been out of school . It feels as though I've become so familiar with the different textures and smells of kleenex because my nose has been buried in them lately . It has been my dream to pursue my career as an artist at this school since my freshmen year of high school . I worked with my art teacher to help me get my portfolio in the best shape possible just to be let down because I was in an emergency situation and needed to dorm . I am asking you all for help whatever you can donate will be awesome ! Help me today to continue creating to continue telling my story . Allow my pen to draw a sun in the darkest alley way.Encouraging words will help me as I strive to be back in school by the upcoming fall semester . Thank you !
