Aaron and Erica's Relief Fund

In the summer of 2014, my beloved brother married a beautiful and magnificent woman named Erica. The wedding was a joyous occasion filled with laughter, love, and the promise of new beginnings. The beautiful couple, surrounded by close friends and family members, vowed to love one another unconditionally, through thick and thin. It was a wonderful event, and as I watched these two love birds finally tie the knot, I knew they would be inseparable. After the reception was over, the couple made their way home to finish packing for their honeymoon, a wonderful trip they had been greatly anticipating, and fully enjoyed. After they returned home, the financial stresses that tend to settle in with newlyweds quickly set in, and they began to feel the pressure. After both receiving their bachelors degrees, the couple very quickly began the search for a more suitable location to live, as well as jobs that could accomodate the lifestyle they wished to share with one another. Unfortunately for them, financial situations would not be the end of their stress. Three weeks after their wedding, Erica rushed Aaron to the hospital due to symptoms related to that of a stroke. Unable to articulate his thoughts and ideas, he was somehow able to inform my new sister-in-law that he needed to go to the emergency room. Upon entering the hospital, Aaron had lost almost all ability to communicate, and could no longer spell his own name due to the symptoms he was experiencing. He was quickly admitted and tested, receiving a full workup by his doctors. The results of the test concluded that my brother did in fact suffer a stroke, and the clot was most likely caused by the extended period of time him and his lovely wife spent sitting on the plane, both to and from their honeymoon location. The clot then spent the next week and a half travelling through his blood stream and to his brain. Due to a small hole in his heart, the clot was able to pass from one chamber to the next, and make its way to his brain. Lucky for my brother, the resulting symptoms of the stroke were not as terrible compared to those that influence the lives of many others, but it has influenced the way he is able to articulate himself. The area around the portion of the brain where the stroke occured is now dead. Although he is still able to communicate with those around him, he still has trouble finding the right words to express his thoughts and feelings. As a recently married man searching for a job to help support his family, this could be an issue when it comes to being interviewed by an employer. Erica's job is currently not enough to support them both on its own, and come next month, the newlyweds are facing the issue of not knowing how they will pay to keep a roof over their head, let alone how to begin paying off their student loans. Both Aaron and Erica recently graduated with their Bachelor degrees, and despite Erica's twelve years of experience within her field and Aaron being a Marine Corps veteran, they are still struggling to find occupations that can help them support themselves properly. In order to help them in their time of need, I have created this gofundme account. I love these people with all of my heart and would do absolutely anything to help them in any way that I can. Unfortunately, I cannot do it on my own. Aaron is the most amazing older brother any sister could ever ask for, and both him and Erica have helped me in so many ways. I am asking for your help to make sure they continue to have a roof over their heads, food in their bellies, and the medication Aaron needs. Anything helps. Thank you so much for your time, support, and for your gracious donations. My brother has spent years looking after me, and as his sister, I aim to do everything I can to do the same for him.
