The Rent is too Damn High... Help

Hey lovelies,
I am writing because quite frankly the rent is too damn high and it would be great to get fucked by something other than my life.
I have finally moved out on my own and it has not been easy. It was somewhat abrupt. I could've saved more, planned more, did more. But when freedom is on the line, you make things happen. So that's what I did. I got four months rent together - first, last and a broker's fee (12% of the year's rent b/c it's rent controlled) - and made it happen. And yes, this was necessary because freedom is a non-negotiable when your health - mental and physical - are on the line.
I am by no means lazy. I work, however my contract (which was renewed) only lasts for the duration of the school year. Because school is out, so is my job. Luckily, I have ensured employment for the fall, but in the meantime *Whitney voice* "I have nothing, nothing, nothing, if I don't have you".
I'm reaching out in hopes of you all being kind enough to help out. I have until the end of the month, which gives me just nine days. Anything and everything helps. I was raised that nothing in life comes free and it is extremely difficult to acknowledge, let alone ask for help. However, if you feel so inclined, it would be greatly appreciated and I will be eternally grateful for your contributions.
