Emergency choke relief; help Jedi out

Hello, I am hoping to raise some funds to help cover the cost of Jedi's vet bill that is coming up for having been treated for a bad case of choking.
He choked on friday, and when our NEVC vet couldn't get it cleared at the barn by saturday morning we borrowed a friend's trailer and made the trek to the Iowa State Veterinary Clinic as reccommended. While there he ended up needing an emergency tracheotomy and we had to leave him in the ICU with an IV going. It was a pretty scary event, not much sleep was had--still isn't.
He got the blockage in his esophagus all cleared, but is currently still on watch incase of pneumonia and when he is able to return to us(could be another week yet) will have a long healing process in store for the tracheotomy hole.
The goal price is an honest guess, I am still waiting to recieve the invoice from NEVC for the emergency call friday night and the second visit in the morning(I stayed all night). The Iowa Clinic originally estimated for $2500, but there's concern that it will go north of that if he needs to stay through the end of the week; then the after care for the tracheotomy hole to heal up.
We were already headed for a rough patch before this, so anything to help offset the fees even a little would be a huge help. Jedi has been my equine partner for 10+ years now, and I owe it to him to do whatever can be done for him even if that is simply to ask for help; the both of us would be eternally grateful!
