Help me start my business!

Hi! My name is Whitley Jordan, and I'm a 20 year old physically disabled person. My two passions in life has been and always will be chemistry and beauty products. I study cosmetic chemistry for fun and decided to finally put my knowledge to the *big* test, of starting my own hair and skin care business. I've been making hair and skin products since I was around 13. I've learned along the way and feel as if I am ready to start producing them en masse.

As some of you may know, I am in a long distance relationship and am saving money to get my partner living down here with me. I'm hoping this extra income from selling these products will help facilitate this faster. With the exceptions of a few silicones and ceteryl alcohol, my products are all natural and made from certified organic ingredients. I wouldn't sell anything I wouldnt use on myself!

I plan on producing:

bunbun baby hair balm - kinda self explanatory. made with mango, shea and cocoa butter. this product is vegan.

shine, baby conditioner - a heavy duty conditioner with a lot of slip. adds shine and actually penetrates the hair shaft. shea butter is added to help seal in the moisture and monoi butter adds beautiful, glossy shine. macademia oil and argan butter add more shine and elasticity. it also contains jojoba, which is the closest oil to human sebum (the good stuff your scalp naturally produces). there will be a vegan version of this as well as a silicone free version.

detangler - :.a detangler lol. a little goes a long way! this will have peg-8 dimethicone, a water soluble silicone for those who dont use silicones/sulfates! made with certified organic oils and butters (shea, mango, monoi, grapeseed, coconut, argan ) this product is vegan.

bounce conditioner - a less heavy version of the shine conditioner, with kelp extract to help form curls! there will be a vegan version of this with added kukui oil to help curls form.

bitchy itchy scalp treat - a scalp treatment which helps eliminate dandruff and itchiness. contains rosemary, coconut oil, neem oil and apple cider vinegar for their anti micorbial/anti bacterial/anti fungal properties. chamomile helps sooth irritated scalp skin and peppermint helps invigorate the scalp. shea butter helps protect the scalp and lock in all that moisture! this is vegan.

emergency happy stuff (named after the tag on my blog) - an intense hair mask meant to be worn under a shower cap. it helps very dry, damaged, processed/bleached hair become more manageable, shiny but coating the hair shaft and soft from all those yummy oils and butters, including: cupuacu butter, avocado butter, aloe butter, mango butter, macadamia butter, monoi butter, tucuma butter, silk amino acids, argan oil and basically this thing is jam packed with all the good stuffs). this product *might* be vegan. various sources say that silk amino acids arent vegan, some say they are. please do err on the side of caution.

>tfw no volume - a conditioner which helps lift the roots of the hair to add volume, and has light, fast absorbing oils as to not weight hair down. this is not vegan. i would love to make a vegan version, im just having a hard time finding a vegan substitute.

protein conditioner - best for dry and damaged hair. olive oil and hydrolyzed wheat protein help give hair the nutrition it needs. tucuma butter adds beautiful shine. this is not vegan and i dont think i can make a vegan alternative. sorry!

aloe and protein hair smoothie - a hair smoothie (styling product) made with jojoba, aloe, and a few other light, fast absorbing oils that wont weight your hair down. this is not vegan.

shea and cupuacu hair polish - a very thick pomade to help keep hair in place. best used for protective styling. hella moisture!!! this is vegan.

iyanla, fix my face face mask - a mask that helps with redness and breakouts. grapeseed oil aides in cellular regeneration, jojoba helps nourish (remember how i said jojoba is close to human sebum? you betcha, your face produces sebum too.), honey for its anti microbial/anti bacterial/anti fungal properties, aloe to soothe, hemp seed and babassu oil to moisturize and to aid in fast absorption, basil to help with redness and inflamation, bentonite clay to help kill acne causing bacteria! this product isnt vegan. im hoping to play around w agave nectar to make a vegan version.

chamomile night cream - contains, you guessed it! chamomile butter to help nourish and calm the skin, cocoa butter, and acai butter for its antioxidants. this is best used as a night cream, as the name suggests because it is a very very heavy cream. this is vegan.

moisture face mask - an intense, yet soothing face mask. best for those who have dry skin. jojoba oil, argan oil, aloe butter and a few other oils.

renew face mask - this mask deep clean and exfoliate your face without leaving you with dry, tight skin. contains several citrus fruit oils to help chemically exfoliate, aloe and chamomile to soothe, and green tea butter.

these are all the products i have planned out, i hope to expand my line, tho some may change/be taken away!
