Bryan's Hysterectomy Fund
Donation protected
As many of you know for the past four years, I have been on the path of becoming my true and authentic self. That has included a legal name change, hormone replacement therapy, a double bilateral mastectomy.
The next step in my journey is a laparoscopic radical hysterectomy which is going to be done by Dr. Zoe Rodriguez at Mt. Sinai on November 11th, 2016.
The procedure itself is covered because I have NOT changed my gender marker on my insurance from Female to Male.
Also over the past couple months, I have been dealing privately with a range of "reproductive health issues" and it's been revealed that my right ovary has several LARGE cysts.
The reason I need to raise money is because of the amount of time I need to take off of work to heal (4-6 weeks). Also, there's one more thing I want to do...I'd like to freeze some of my eggs.
Freezing my eggs requires that I go on IVF medication and then go thru the harvesting procedure. This is NOT covered by my insurance because I have just turned 27 and I should be able to biologically have my own children and don't require IVF.
I have also have to pay for the lab to keep my eggs frozen for a period of time.
I will be extremely thankful to anyone who takes the time to assist me. This is a big step and one that has become my primary focus. It would mean the world for you to assist me in making this happen.
Thank you,
Bryan
