Fund for Brotherly LOVE

Will Lillard recently got news that his brother Michael has made several suicide attempts in the last couple of weeks. Michael was injured while serving in the armed forces in Afghanistan and is suffering from the debilitating effects of PTSD. Fortunately his attempts to end his life have not been successful. Michael has reached out to Will in his time of need. Will is answering his brother’s call, but he needs us to help make this happen.

Since Michael lives in Las Vegas, Will is leaving Portland this Wednesday for an unknown period of time to be with his brother. During this time Will will not have any income to pay for his current living expenses, nor to help pay for the cost of the trip (lodging, flight, transportation, food). These funds will also be used to find and set up ongoing resources for Michael in his struggles with PTSD. Thank you so much for your love and support during this challenging time.

Exciting update: Michael has asked to come back home to Oregon! This is great news, but now the journey is really just begun. Fortunately, Will no longer has to finance a lengthy trip to Vegas, and more of these funds can go to help Will support Michael in his time of need.
