Study Abroad in Rome Summer 2014

My name is Brooke Edwards, I am a junior and psychology major at Temple University located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It has always been a dream of mine to go beyond my comfort zone, see what the world has to offer and experience different cultures. Thanks to Temple University, I have been given this once in a life time opportunity to spend the summer studying abroad in Rome, Italy.

As a lover of art, Italy has been my minds paradise but even with an artists imagination it is hard for me to comprehend the beauty that lies in Italy. In fact, ever since I was a little girl art has played a big role in my life and deep down I knew that art had the potential for healing. It wasn't until I was older that I realized that I could use art to help others. I want to dedicate my life to inspiring and improving the lives of others -- and I believe this program can help me achieve my goals further. However, there is one remaining obstacle -- the expenses.

The total cost for me to study abroad in Rome will amount to approximately $10,400. So I am here to ask for your help. By contributing a dollar amount large or small you can help me reach my goal and help make my dream come true. I am not asking for a specific dollar amount rather whatever you feel most comfortable giving. I appreciate you guys and would love if you could help me in my endeavor.
