The family is completely grief stricken, as JANET passed away last night. She had no assets to pay for a funeral.
PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN, so her children can give her a small, lovely funeral for their mother and also to help pay her final expenses.
The photo below is of me, my son Gabe Owen (U.S. Open Champion who is offering his Training DVDs as "reward levels" for donations (see bottom of page), and JANET'S TWO SONS.....ROCKY & WOODY CONDUFF, (my nephews), who just suddenly and tragically LOST THEIR MOTHER....who was the LIGHT of their LIVES, as are their wives and Janet's grandchildren they have.

CALLING ALL ANGELS!
Unexpected tragedy struck our family, (the Conduff (and Owen family), on July 17th. My beloved sister-in-law of 40+ years, Janet Conduff-Jacobson (in the black top) was found unconscious in her home. She has been a diabetic for many years, has been on disability from it, and also has no assets. Only her small monthly disability check, after becoming disabled from a wonderful career as a hairdresser in Oklahoma.
A friend found her in her home, unconcious, on July 17th, and now she is on LIFE-SUPPORT in a hospital in Oklahoma, FIGHTING for her LIFE!, and her daughter, her sons, Rocky and Woody Conduff, (shown in photo below with their mother - & the other picture is Gabe talking with his cousin Rocky), are helping their mother in the fight of her life, with encouragement, prayers, talking to her, reading the Bible, playing gospel and other music. Thank God!! she has been responding some!!
From the time Janet was found, she endured 3 "Codes"/heart stops, and was resusitated all three times. The doctors determined she had a stroke. She is FIGHTING to LIVE!! Besides being on complete life support, her left side is paralyzed, and the doctors said she may be blind when she comes out of this. They at first believed Janet would not make it 24 hours...which would have been July 18th! But she's STILL WITH US!!
Janet is not only my treasured sister-in-law of 40+ years, but my boys - Gabe Owen & Robert Owen'ss AUNT, and Rocky, Woody, and Jennifer are my precious nephews and niece. I have set this page up in their behalf, because I know first hand what they are all enduring emotionally and financially, and they NEED HELP!

When at the hospital, they do see that she sometimes responds with a hand gesture or a slight movement, occasionally even more movement. It seems that she can hear people, but she cannot respond, except by a slight movement, or grabbing & squeezing of visitor's hands.
The family has significant struggles and expenses ahead of them, and we need all the help we can get at this heartbreaking and painful time.
Her children are at the ready to help her with whatever she needs. Her boys have said they will build/add a room to her cabin, make it wheel chair accessible and Rocky, his wife Leah, and their daughter will live with Janet to take care of her after she is released from hospital, if need be. But that could be months away, and cost quite a bit. But both boys are builders, and can get it done at cost.
This has put a crippling financial stress on Janet's children as they have to try to maintain their jobs, and be at the hospital as often as possible, to take turns being with their mother. They also have their own children - Janet's beloved grandchildren - to take care of, and they are also caring for Janet's two other "kids".....Janet's 2 cherished PIT BULLS that were living with her when she was found, unconscious on the floor, at home by a caring neighbor, who called 911. Rocky and his wife Leah, had to drive from another state, and have gone to her cabin and are taking care of the pit bulls, and other necessary things.
ALL of the funds from this fundraiser, will be used to help offset Janet's unexpected, tragic, health and financial crisis in this urgent time of need, espcially for future expenses of Janet's medical needs when she does recover and go home. And if she doesn't get to go home, then the funds will be used for her extended care. Or (as we try not contemplate, but at this point, realize it could be an unthinkable outcome)....if Janet does not make it, then the funds would be used for her funeral expenses.
So therefore, we are CALLING ALL ANGELS!!
We are all faithful that GOD WILL PERFORM A MIRACLE for this family!! And that many ANGELS will help! :)
Rocky, Woody, JANET!!, as well as myself and my boys, and the other family members, will be forever grateful for any donation, small or large, and/or prayers. It all adds up!
