BRING JACK BACK

Jack and Kathy Flanagan have been an integral part of the North Country. As many of you know Jack ran the St. Lawrence Inn for over 20 years and he is currently a deputy sheriff at the St. Lawrence County Jail. Jack has been a tireless volunteer in Canton athletics as well as the community. They have raised their sons, Sean & Kyle, here in Canton to be exceptional young men, as well as “pretty good” hockey players. The Flanagan family has been involved in all aspects of the community. On one of Jack’s rare junkets out of Canton, he was looking forward to visiting his youngest son, Kyle, who is playing professional hockey in Sweden. Midway through his trip on February, 20th Jack was admitted to the hospital for a serious internal illness. When his condition did not improve, Kathy and Sean flew to Sweden to be with Jack and Kyle where they have remained as a family. The last two weeks have been both difficult and exhausting for the Flanagans.

 There will be a long road ahead of them. First and foremost we need to BRING JACK BACK. Getting Jack home will be a very complicated process given the seriousness of his condition, which will require an overseas medical air transport for critically ill patients. Bringing Jack back to the U.S will allow his family and friends to be near him and to help support him in his recovery. Upon his return home he will continue to require long-term medical care.

 To help defray the cost of an overseas medical air transport, and additional medical expenses, Jack’s brothers Paul and Bruce, sister Lynn and their families along with close friends would gratefully accept donations to help ease the financial burden and expedite the process involved in “bringing Jack back”. Any help is greatly appreciated in getting our beloved Jack home safely. Thank you for your love, support, and generosity!
