Hey guys. Brian passed peacefully on Tuesday at 4:30pm. Thank you all for making this last year the best for him it could have possibly been. I'll let you all know when and where the service will be when we figure that out. We'll probably take the weekend off and worry about it on Monday. Love and light! XOXOXOXOXOXO
Hey guys. We haven't updated you all for a while and things have changed. We now have Hospice coming to the house to adjust Brian's pain medication and answer any questions we might have. We didn't know much about them and if you don't either, it's a service that helps with legal things, provides on-call nurses, counseling or anything else our family might need. Brian is resting peacefully today but isn't keeping up on emails or phone calls. He knows you all love him and he is grateful beyond words for all the help you've given him and his family. He is constantly surrounded by family and smiles every day. We are all grateful to be here with him and to be able to give him his food, meds, or a massage. We are all focused on the many blessings of each present moment and not on all the possible futures. Thank you for all your love and support.
I got a stent put in my bile duct that had been blocked by the tumor while I was getting my nerve block! I feel so relieved and grateful! Thank you for your prayers and well wishes because they worked! Love you all!
I'm going in for a celiac plexus block procedure which should help with a lot of the pain. Been in the hospital all week. So much for my vacation. The hospital staff has been great, thank you guys!
It's spread to my brain now but we will take care of that after I get this eating thing down 1st as I've been living on IV bags all week.
I'll write the good news this afternoon and tell you how it went.
I just got some checks from a couple of friends and I don't know if I'm saying thank you enough. You guys make it possible for Dara to stay home and take care of me. She pays the bills and keeps track of Doctor appointments, prescriptions, cooks, cleans, takes care of Trin and our dog, drives and stays in the hospital with me and sleeps beside me on a chair. She couldn't do all of that without you guys doing the fund raising. We are so grateful for you all that write and come up with fund raising ideas, it breaks us into tears. I don't have any good news to report, I hope to soon. I'm feeling good today and don't have chemo till Friday. I hope we all have a good week. Love and blessings
Good morning! I hope everyone had a fun and safe holiday season! I apologize for the lack of updates lately. Life has been pretty hectic but I shouldn't let this page fall behind. Right now the Wolfe's are doing pretty good. As Brian had previously mentioned, the Abraxane and Gemzar the doctors had him on stopped working and his counts went up. They now have him on a different cocktail which is a two day infusion and requires two days in the hospital. Brian will be returning at the end of the week for another round. As Brian and Dara prepare for their stay I am asking for prayers and positive thoughts. I know Brian is on your mind all the time but I still like to ask because he is on my mind all the time as well. I also ask for you to pass the donation page on. I would post the link everyday but don't want everyone to feel like I'm begging. ( Even though in a sense I am) I am close to the Wolfe family but I feel helpless. I do everything I can to help but it just doesn't seem like enough. That's one of the reasons I post the donation page and ask prayers. Every thought, prayer, kind word, and penny helps more than you know. Because of you the Wolfe family is hanging in there and for that we are forever grateful.
Thank you everyone for the outpour of love and support for the Wolfe family! Your kind words and donations are extremely overwhelming. We have created a Facebook page, facebook.com/BrianWolfesFight. Look there for information and updates and feel free to leave positive vibes and words for the family. Thank you for being so supportive and helping to spread the word!
I just finished my first chemotherapy treatment which kinda sucked but wasn't as bad as getting sick in Mexico two years ago. It looks like stage 4 pancreatic cancer that has metastasized to my liver, lungs, and spleen. We are using the best of Eastern and Western remedies for it. I'm still in Florida Hospital East resting and getting regulated once again. I hope to be home again in a couple days to continue healing. Jignesh Panchal A.P., D.O.M. is helping me with herbology, acupuncture, cupping, diet, and massage. Then I will return to the hospital for more chemo and see how it will go from there. I wanted to keep everyone updated because Dara and I are overwhelmed by your generosity and kind words. When Jess asked if we minded if she did this Fight For Life thing, we were pretty much open for any help at all. I am so proud to be a part of this special community of people who have each others backs financially, spiritually, physically, and mentally with advice, ideas, warm wishes, prayers, bill money, baby sitters, patience and understanding. You guys move me to tears and I can't put it into words. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. I've tried to keep up on emails and Facebook as best I can so please write there or to 532 Woodland Terrace Blvd. Orlando, Florida 32828.
We are all extremely grateful for the show of love and continued support. We appreciate all the kind words, prayers and positive thoughts as well as the donations. Nick is working on getting out a paypal address for those who would prefer to show their support in that way. Again, we cannot say thank you enough!
Identical twins Nick and Brian Wolfe grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida and started their epic journey into the world of special effects makeup. They share inborn enthusiasm for art and illusion that has fueled their meteoric rise in the world of faceart, body painting and special effects make-up.They travel the world sharing their ideas, teaching others and helping them accomplish their dreams.
Brian has been married for 13 years to his devoted wife, Dara and they have an 12 year old daughter, Trinity. Both who are his life and biggest supporters.
July 2012, Brian was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that has knocked him off his feet and is threatening his life. While Brian undergoes treatment he is unable to work. His wife, who has stood by his side for over a dozen years is needed by his side now more than ever.
We are asking you to help the Wolfe family in any way you can. Any donation amount is greatly appreciated and will be used to help with day to day expenses so Brian can focus on healing and living his dream once again.
The Wolfe family is so blessed to have such caring family, friends and fans and is extraordinarily grateful for the continued support.
For those who may be wondering, I am Dara's sister and I am close to both her and Brian. Dara and Brian are both aware of this page and the support we are asking for. This page has been a group effort put together by our entire family. We greatly appreciate any help you can offer.
I will try to send more soon. It has taken me a long time to get my finances stable enough to share. Nick I was asked by our former boss Kristen of Ojos Locos how you were doing and she sends her condolences and asked me if there was anything she could do I said yes ... due to the medical bills left behind there is a gofundme link for Brian, which I emailed to her this morning. She said you and I are like family to her and she wants to help as well. Hooray I hope this helps out even more.
