Save the 4th of July
Donation protected
If you grew up in Brentwood, you anticipated the 4th of July celebration. The race, parade, all day barbeques and ending the day with fireworks. Rain or shine, it's a celebration and a tradition that you can pass down to your children.
The Brentwood 4th of July celebration relies heavily on donations to make the event successful and volunteers throughout the year. Donations have been down over the years along with volunteer support.
Thirty years ago, an envelope was put in the door to every resident asking for support with the upcoming events. Donation envelopes are still being sent in the mail but with less response from the residents. Today, we now have the ability to donate online and through social media to spread the word.
Please help keep this celebation in Brentwood! This year, Brentwood Borough is celebrating its Centennial (100 years) and want to make this parade and fireworks the best ever!! Please support this great day in Brentwood and consider volunteering to keep the parade a part of 4th of July. The parade committee meets throughout the year, the first Monday of every month in the Community Center at 7:30 PM. New faces and ideas are most welcomed!!
Every little bit counts to keep this memorable tradition in our community!
