Branch Out - South Africa
Donation protected
Last spring strangers around the world made one college student's dream come true by funding a trip to renowed seabird rehabilitation center - SANCCOB. There, Courtney Dunn helped rehabilitate a wide variety of seabirds including the endangered African Penguin. Assisting in these efforts as well as releasing birds back into the wild gave Courtney a new perspective on what it meant to be a true conservationist.
This winter she wants to do it all again but this time focus on learning more about native flora and fauna by exploring the entire Cape Peninsula and Garden coastline. This educational trip will span across multiple national parks including the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens, Cape Agulhas and Cape Point National Park, and even the world famous Addo Elephant National Park - home to more than 600 free roaming Elephants.
Donations to this cause go directly to the costs of visiting these national parks as well as accommodation while in South Africa.
