RECORDING STUDIO CONSTRUCTION PARTY

Hello My music family. My name is Boyd Jarvis. I have been in the recording Industry and record business for 30 years and counting. As we know the music business has taken a big economic down fall. 

We would like to change that. Because of the internet and as I sometimes call them the anti social networks, there is lack of human interaction in the flesh. That I believe has helped to degrade the industry (example free mp3' downloading), as opposed to help the music industry. There are less and less real musicians (Machines), They are a dying breed on a global level. 

This i believe has created the influx of those unexperienced and not so professional music people, you know thee" I'm a producer", folks in other words any one can own a computer with the music software of their choice and tinker, which I believe has led to lack of good music (just my opinion) I can say that because I am one who uses software as well. As we grow into the future real musicians are becoming a thing of the past, and to me that is a shame. 

So I as and individual I am taking a stand and building my own studio, where I can invite and encourage musicians to get together again, there is nothing like being right there face face playing together, that human interaction.

We as musicians are seriously in a time where we are approaching extinction.

Some of the things I would like to offer and commit to, on completion of this recording environment, which is some thing I have always done and will continue to do is mentor the youth and just about any one that wants to learn the kraft.

I would like to provide that opportunity. So I will dedicate one day out of the week to have what I would like to call mentoring day. Teaching the basics of recording and the ins and outs of recording, as well as the business of recording. Tutoring, consultation, phone support and tech support. Well thats my plan family. I am open for suggestions and donations.

I have been having a very rough time.

Finishing my recording studio, that has been long awaited by many. But,  I have been fortunate to have such good friends, such as Mr. Oscar Fuller and Mr. Victor Santiago, Miss Beverly Jackson, who are willing to work for food, friendship and a lot of love.
