My name is Chauncy Welliver. I am a former professional boxer now running an amateur boxing team.
We lucked out recently and had the national championships for amateur boxing in our city of Spokane, WA. In the nationals we entered one of our heavyweights, Pat Ferguson, with the minimum amount of fights needed to enter the tournament. He fought against all odds, nobody expected him to win a fight. He WON THE ENTIRE TOURNAMENT!!! First Spokane boxer to win this tournament in 51yrs. On top of that he won the tournaments "Most Outstanding Boxer". First ever from our great city.
Winning this tournament gave Pat top seed in the Olympic Trials.
Newspapers and online media have tagged him "the Real Rocky Story".
My gym BoxFit is producing some great talent and will continue to do so with the right experience for our boxers.
In less than 2 years we have a national champion!
What we would need help with is travel, hotel, and food. With this being an amateur tournament all costs comes out of pocket so we are seeking support to help make his dream a reality. Let's bring heavyweight glory back to America.
