Connor's Rainbow Bridge Fund

    Last night I noticed Connor felt really warm and wasn't acting like himself.  I called the vet first thing this morning and they said to bring him by and they would run some vitals.  He had a low fever, but his gums looked pale so the doctor ran some tests and it turns out he is life threatingly anemic.  They sent us to the animal emergency where we spent most of the day.  The emergency vet wanted to do a blood transfusion and  run a bunch of diagnostics to pinpoint the problem so we weren't shooting in the dark with treatments, because they didn't know what was wrong. She thought it might be some immune related disease or possibly a blood parasite.  However, the total ran about $3,000 and neither my boyfriend or I have the money, because the emergency wanted 75% up front and wouldn't work with us to do a payment plan.  We ended up only being able to afford to go home with a few medications that may or not help and Connor is definitely not out of the woods. We really want to do more for his treatment, but are unable to do that without money to give the vet.  So we are asking for help.  Connor is our kid, we love him and would do anything for him and Murphy loves his brother and wouldn't survive without him.  Please HELP us!!!! Donate anything you can!  Even if it is a couple dollars, it helps, because every little bit adds up!!!  Please help us by reposting this too!!!!  Thank you and keep Connor in your thoughts and prayers!
