Books For Kachin Displaced Children

Hi, I am July Seng Mai from Wellington, New Zealand. I came here in 2012 for safety and education. I am attending my last year of college in New Zealand and planning to go to Victoria University next year. New Zealand is a peaceful country and I don't need to worry mostly anything.I feel so depressed of seing the way my people are suffering especially the innocent children. So I want to help them but I couldn't do much besides Prayers.
This children are displaced in Kachin State because of the conflicts between Kachin and Burmese government. You can read more here(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kachin_conflict ). They have lost their happy homes, schools and family members. They stay in refugee camps and spend their times running around. I want to do something useful for them. My vision is to fill up with books in the libraries for this children as well as for teenagers who are keen to learn English.
I love going to school being able to learn what I am interested in. My hope for them is to be educated even though there is war in our country. I will buy books with the money that you donated and send them to An Organization who has responsible for IDPs ( Internally Displaced Person). I am going to send the books for twice.
1st time - When I reach $ 5,000
2nd time - When I reach another $ 5,000
I will update the photos/videos when the books arrive. I actually wanted to back and hand the books to the children but that will cost too much for the flights fees which I can't afford.
Note : I apologize for the late Notice. Donations on This campaign are in AUD $. Therefore $1 = $ 1.09 NZD.
