2014 was an incredible year for me. What began as a new discovery and adventure  just over a year ago has transformed into an amazing and enriching experience that began at my local track Brian Piccolo Velodrome in Cooper City, FL. Track cycling in the USA is on the rise and women's sport in general is getting the exposure that it deserves. What some might consider a specialized and fringe sport is now becoming a household name. At an elite level we ride highly specialized machines that help us shave off mere seconds in our fight with the chronometer. We ride on special banked tracks that intimidate strong seasoned riders when they view them for the first time. It would seem to many that these are the things that prevent a clear pathway into the sport but such is not the case. Having a clear and viable pathway into the sport for all persons is something that is challenging in the realm of cycling, we have moved in a very expensive direction, with the costs of equipment, training, and travel soaring.

While this may seem daunting and challenging I believe that this is what makes winning and working towards your goals so satisfying. Cycling is not without its soaring highs and crippling lows. There is nothing like working your body to its limits and discovering you have more to give or the tank is empty. That is what Track is for me a constant pursuit of knowledge and growth reaching one goal and sprinting toward the next one.

With the support of everyone who has donated to this campaign I have achieved so much in such a short amount of time.

In 2014 I have accomplished...
1. Multiple Florida State Championship titles
2. Regional Title holder/ Sprint Champion in my specific discipline at the Elite Regionals Championship/ Texas Cup
3. A Bronze medal in less than a year of cycling at USA Elite Track Nationals 2014 Rock Hill, SC
4. Top ten finish at a challenging Class 1 UCI international race at the most advanced facility in the US. In both events I compete in with less than a year of racing experience.

All of this has been made possible as a direct result of the support from...

My Family who never falter in supporting my goals and dreams no matter how big they seem.

My Coach, who puts me in the pain cave day and day out. Maximizes my potential and gets me into top form ready to be the best. He can always be counted on for support.

My Team Pink Siren Sports, who have offered me and other female athletes alike  a gateway into the sport and resources that are equivalent to rare earth metals.

My Track cycling community at Brian Piccolo, who gave me gears and equipment when I needed them training partners when I lacked them and any resources they could find to help me reach my full potential as the first female Miami native to go to the big show.

2015 has been off to a great start, I am well into my training system and seeing lots of great things on the horizon.

Goals for 2015...
1. Attend at least 3-4 of the NTC races on the USA Cycling calendar @ Valley Preffered Cycling center in Pennsylvania  @ 7-11 Velodrome at United States Olympic Training Center @ Velo Sports Center in Carson CA.
2. Attend 2015 Elite Track Nationals in Carson, Ca August 2015.
3. Meet the time standards issued by the UCI and and USOC in order to be considered for USA Cycling sprint specific programmes and training opportunities. And as a requisite for international competition where I will be representing the USA.
4. Attend one international race in another country or a grand prix with international caliber in the USA.
5. Be an ambassador for my state and my cycling community by influencing and carving out a pathway for junior girls to race at the national and international level. To continue my work by hosting women's specific training days and clinics. Doing my part to help create a thriving and talented sprint program in the USA.

We did so much in 2014 and I know if I have the support of my community we can make 2015 another outstanding year. Please consider making a donation of any kind towards this campaign.
