Help Gillian buy a new Laptop!

As friends, colleagues, neighbours and fellow artists, we have been so pleased to welcome Gillian Maradyn-Jowsey to Lunenburg this summer – in fact, we can’t imagine not having her here when she returns to the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design (NSCAD) in Halifax this fall to continue her studies.

Gillian has become part of our day-to-day lives – working at Lincoln Street Food, Lunenburg Community Network and volunteering wherever an opportunity arises.

That is why we are so disappointed that on July 15 2014, her apartment was broken into when she was watering her plants at the Community Garden and her Apple laptop was stolen.

Gillian has been working multiple jobs to pay for her schooling and she is not in a position to spend those funds replacing her stolen computer.

So we have come together and hope you will join us in raising funds for a new computer for Gillian.
