Help me stop the Taiji Dolphin Slaughter
My name is Eloisa Eaton-Jinks aka ELO and I'm a Cove Guardian. A few years back I watched a movie called "The Cove" and it changed the course of my life forever. Every year in the small quiet town of Taiji, Japan between the months of September-March entire families (pods) of dolphins are being slaughtered. The cove is turned crimson red with the blood of the innocent. The ones that are not killed are sent to live the rest of their lives in captivity and force fed drugs to keep them somewhat stable to do tricks for peoples amusement. Another term I like to use for this is 'BLOOD DOLPHIN$!' This must stop!!
During this 2012-13 hunting season I want to travel to Taiji as a volunteer with Sea Shepherd Conservation Society and their on-going campaign, 'Infinite Patience'. I must cover 100% of my travel, food and lodging in order to go. Remember, I'm a volunteer and will NOT get paid for this. I will be spreading the word and documenting to the world of what takes place in Taiji.
I need your help to do this.
If for some reason I do not reach my goal, the money that is raised will be donated to Sea Shepherd as a gift.
For the Oceans,
ELO
