Brooke's Going to Miss NY USA 2014!

In January of 2014, I will be competing for the title of Miss New York USA! This is the same pageant that leads to Miss USA and finally the ultimate title of Miss Universe, held by Donald Trump. Pursuing a career in the media and journalism field while also holding a professional interest in the dramatic arts, I never would have imagined becoming a pageant girl even though I have always received letters of interest. After doing a bit of research and seeing the endless opportunities that this experience could present, I quickly sent in my application. Thankfully, I was accepted after my submission and having an interview with one of the pageant representatives.

Of course, pageant-work can be hard and a trying process. This is when I come to you, my friends and family. In order for me to compete for the title of Miss New York USA (and hopefully future titles), I need to pay for fees of being in the pageant, as well as get a dress and shoes, make up, interview attire, swimsuit, and pageant coach. Miss New York USA requests for contestants to find sponsors in order to make the process a little easier.
