Miss Simone was diagnosed with severe, life threatening anemia on late Monday night, July 14. We rushed her to our local emergency veterinary hospital immediately where we were told that in order to save her life, she required a (pricey) blood transfusion.
With a blood donation from our other beautiful dog, Josie, Simone is receiving the transfusion as we speak (3am est).
Things are touch and go at this point, and we're expecting initial costs to multiply until she is fully recovered. Any money raised will go DIRECTLY to Simone's care. Any extra will be donated to a local rescue.
