Hi Everyone!
Thank you for taking a look at my Go Fund Me site - I appreciate your time! A few months ago I found out that I have a condition called Developmental Hip Dysplasia. This condition causes my hip sockets to be too shallow where they do not hold my femur correctly. Due to this condition I have a torn labrum (in my left hip) and am beginning to show signs of arthritis. In order to fix this problem and avoid a total hip replacement in the next three years, I will need to undergo a serious surgery called a Periacetabular Osteotomy. Sorry for all of the medical lingo.
Long story short, this condition came as a complete surprise to Nathan and me and we were not financially prepared for the medical costs of such a surgery. My surgery will be on Monday, August 11th of this year. During my time off of work - up to 12 weeks - our income will be seriously depleted. We are hoping to use this Go Fund Me to help us pay for rent, medical equipment, medical costs, and other necessary expenses. We would be so thankful for any donation, even the smallest amout will make a difference!
