Remember Mitze Spruill? Well she's Mitze Moore now and she needs our help.
For those that have kept up with her, you know that she's a stay at home mom with 2 kids - 3 year old Patrick, Jr aka LP and 17-month old Paisley.
She has been married to Patrick Moore aka Big Pat or BP since forever! They met and married in the 2005. Many of you know BP eventhough you have never met him because Mitze's FB newsfeed would always brag about him and his interests, namely weightlifting. Prior to his diagnosis, his goal was to be the strongest man in the world! At his best, he could bench press 475 pounds, deadlift 900 pounds and squat 675 pounds!!! He always liked to brag to Mitze that his hand grip alone could nearly crack a Coca Cola bottle!!!
Besides his passion for weightlifting, he was an avid motorcycle rider, race car enthusiast and video gamer.
What Mitze posted the most was his megawatt smile. Which was proof he was her "gentle giant" on the inside.
Patrick loves his family and adores his kids. He has an extra special bond with his namesake whom he calls "Patwich"!! LP was already learning the fundamentals of bike riding prior to his Dad's illness.
On March 12, 2015, he was diagnosed with Lymphoma Stage 4. After undergoing numerous rounds of chemo, abnormal cells were discovered in his bloodstream. On Friday, July 17th, Patrick and Mitze were told he was terminal. Sadly, on Thursday July 23rd he took his final breath with Mitze at his side. Up until the very end he showed a brave face.
Let's help her and her two young children as they struggle with the loss of their love.
