Nepal Earthquake Relief

Hello and thanks for taking the time to consider my fundraising effort.  My name is Matt Skousen and for the last 14 years I have had the privilage of working with  the incredibly kind and lovely people of Nepal.  I own a small knitwear company based in Missoula Montana called Everest Designs.  www.everest-designs.com .

We work mostly in Baktapur Nepal an ancient kingdom about 10 miles from the capital Khatmandu.
  Bhaktapur suffured some of the worst damage within the Khatmandu valley as many of the houses are very old and poorly built.

Here is where your money is going:

1.We have already provided health screenings on over 150 of the workers in our finishing facility to make sure any issues mental or physiological are treated.
2. We are setting up a community water filtration system within our facility to provide safe drinking water through the rainy season.
3. I am visiting tent cities around Bhaktapur asking people what their immediate needs are.
4. We have set up a fund and are requesting funds from other charities to help repair and rebuild damaged homes via a micro loan program and subsidized building materials.
5. A Nepalese social worker will conduct family interviews and award loans and materials on a needs basis.
