Bring back the classic boots

We want to bring back a deeply missed, traditional Swedish boot in an urban way, manufactured in the same small factory as always. It will be available in two versions, one for the stables and one for the streets. This project is both about saving a rare local production of shoes and about quality products with a long lasting lifetime. In fact, our boots only get better with age.
The boots
An old horse-back-riding- and hang-around-in-the-stables-boot has stopped being produced. Loads of girls around Scandinavia are mourning these boots. We want to bring them back!
Beak Boots is a brand that already produces traditional boots in Sweden and we just got the opportunity to reproduce these long lost goodies in the same factory as our other products.
Of course we want to give the horse enthusiasts what they want, but we also want to give the people of the streets a chance to wear these cool unique boots. We have sketched a new version of the boot and want to get the production and sales going, but unfortunately the lack of money stands in our way. We already have the best collaboration available when it comes to production. To get that going has been one of Beak Boots' biggest challenges so far. Now we finally feel safe with the current factory, they listen to us and we understand them. It has taken a few years to get there.
It is very expensive to produce in Sweden but we are convinced that this is what our brand should be about. We get a lot of attention both in media and from people but sale has never matched the attention. With this new boot we need to get the sales numbers high from the very beginning. It will be too much of a risk to develop the perfect boots without having several stores willing to sell them, already long before they exist. To get the right stores and the right buyers to even take a meeting it is all about being persistent and smart. We are going to work on the hype and the big launch event.
We need to put big parts of our own time into selling and PR. That is why we in this project have chosen to collaborate with our good friend Caroline Jungsand. She is not just missing her favourite riding boot, she is also one of Sweden's most award winning PR consultants and Creative directors.
We are sure that people will love these boots as much as we do, as long as they get the opportunity too see them and the chance to try them on. The boots are very unique and has a long history.
Sweden is a small country but our web shop is open to people all over the world. But we have never had the money or the time to launch them properly outside our country. The long-term plan is to take part in fairs and exhibitions in the most fashionable cities in Europe and in the US.
So far we have re-invested our revenue into new projects. It is a safe but very slow way of growing and we have never had the chance to grow to our full potential. If you can help us out here, we can get this started and bring Beak Boots to a new level. And on the same time make sure that the factory can keep its employees and teach a younger generation the art of shoe making.

Beak Boots, is all about traditional Swedish handicraft. Handicrafts with a history of high fashion and an extreme sense of quality and uniqueness. From the leather chosen to create these boots and bags, to each stitch sewn by hand, these Beaks have had passion built right into them from the beginning.We want to bring this tradition into the modern fashion world, to urbanise its features while still following the process that make these boots so special.

People who were around in the 70's got something nostalgic in their eyes, came up and shared all the memories that the boots brought back. The younger crowed perceived them as something different and unique.
Now we produce bags as well, all leather products made as much as possible in naturally tanned leather without any chemicals, from the Swedish tannery Tärnsjö.
