Kathy's chemotherapy/surgery fund

Hello friends and family,

A dear friend of our BECO community, Katherine SoonHan Lee was diagnosed with stage 3-B Lung cancer that has began to spread to her lymph nodes. She faces 4 rounds of chemotherapy which hopefully will lead to substantial enough shrinkage of the tumors for them to be surgically removed. Unfortunately, she does not have health insurance which makes matters that much worse, and given her selfless personality she’s the last person that will ask anyone for financial help. We were all devastated when we heard the news. Kathy runs the main deli that connects two office buildings full of different companies and a wide variety of people. Despite how overwhelming that seems she’s managed to capture all of our hearts by being one of the most personable people any of us have had a chance to meet. When you go to Kathy’s, sure you have a menu, but as we all know there isn’t a thing in the world she wouldn’t cook up for you. You name it, she’ll make it. She puts a smile on all of us to kick start our mornings. Please help in any way possible to give Kathy an opportunity to knock this cancer flat on its back.
