Bayla Whitten's First CD Fund
It is so scary to put yourself out there, but here I am! This is an exciting time for me. I have been performing for over 10 years and now I am finally asked to be in the spotlight. It is a dream come true to be doing a solo show and I want to take advantage of every moment of it.
On November 15th and 16th, I will be doing a cabaret of the music of Carole King with gorgeous new orchestrations. I will be recording every show and putting together a CD. It has always been a dream of mine to make a CD and after selling out the first 2 shows, I feel this is finally the right time.
It is a very expensive process. You must pay for the rights of the music, the amazing musicians and performers who are lending their talents and expertise, a photographer for the cover and book art, a sound engineer to record every sound made separately and then a mixer and editer to put it all together. After that, you have to figure in the cost of the CD production and marketing the CD's for sale.
I would be very thankful for any amount of money you feel you can spare towards making my dream come alive.
