My name is Dewey Davenport. I am a professional pilot, modern day barnstormer, avid aviation enthusiast and one of the organizers of the second Barnstorming Carnival. The Barnstorming Carnival is a Free community event that focuses on educating the community with all sorts of aviation, but emphasizing antique 1920-40 aircraft.
This two day event will have rare fabric covered antique aircraft on display, Barnstorming pilots, Biplane ride opportunities, Rocket building workshop for all kids that wants to build their first rocket, Kids bounce house, Model airplane displays and flight demonstrations, Unmanned Aircraft ( UAV’s), Antique cars, aviation movies, parachute packing, and more.
The Barnstorming Carnival will be held July 11-12, 2015 at the Springfield Beckley Airport in Springfield, Ohio. Last year was the first public community event held at this airport in over 30 years. This event was a huge success! Because we had such positive feed back from the community we were asked to do it again this year.
Last year I spent a lot of my own money to fund this event so now I’m looking for other alternatives to support the event. Your donations will help make this event even better.
Your donations will go towards education of aviation during the Barnstorming Carnival. Items such as the items listed below will be covered with your support.
