Thank you to everyone who came today to Robee's Memorial service. It meant so much to the family and it was amazing to see a complete packed house and parking lot of people coming together to celebrate and remember Robee. Robee's cousin Andrea did an awesome photo slide show and I have attached the link here for view: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=egbhUZwy-XA&feature=youtu.be
Also the video of Robee's Memorial service is on the church website http://www.familycathedral.org/
Just click on Watch on-line and select the correct video. Also a big thank you to everyone who worked to make today special.... the awesome AV team, the pastors, ushers, nursery, greeters, women's group, etc, etc, and Sammie Walkers BBQ http://www.menuism.com/restaurants/sammy-walkers-bar-b-que-rowlett-149066
who provided the food for the family. It continues to remind me how "families" come together when one of theirs is hurt. We have all seen first hand how amazing that has been over the past two weeks.
Rachelle posted last this afternoon that the man who murdered Robee was caught today. There is very limited details but an answer to prayer that this man will be locked up and not able to hurt anyone else. Lastly, please keep Linda, Ryan, Randi, Rusty, Rachelle and entire family in your prayers as they start dealing with the "new normal" of their lives next week. Pray that the Holy Spirit will continue to comfort them and keep them in God's arms of love.
All-Update: Reminder that Robee's Memorial Service is scheduled for this Saturday, February 8 at 11 AM at Family Cathedral of Praise in Mesquite (790 Windbell Circle). There will be a nursery provided for infants to toddlers. Also, the church AV crew has graciously committed to live-stream the Memorial Service so that those that cannot attend physically will be able to be a part. The site will be up around 10:50 AM on Saturday, 2/8 and can be logged into by going to www.familycathedral.org.
Please pray for Linda, Ryan, Rusty and Rachelle as tomorrow will be a very difficult day.

Linda, Ryan, Rusty and Rachelle are working with the church and family preparing for the Memorial Service this week so keep them in your prayers as it is still so difficult. The family once again wants everyone to know how much they have appreciated your prayers, love and support - please make certain to continue and share.
Update for All- Please continue to join in prayer together for the Brewer family. Robee's body was positively identified yesterday with fingerprints and Rachelle and Rusty will be seeing him for the first time this morning. Although we know that this is just his physical temple and he is now in heaven with his dad and grandmother, it still will be a very difficult day. Rachelle and Rusty ask me to share that "Your prayers are working and keep them coming. God is definitely going before us".
Rachelle and Rusty also will be finalizing today the preparation of bringing Robee's ashes back and will be meeting with the Victims Assistance group.
Ryan and little Amos are on their way here- pray for traveling mercies and strength. Randi and baby Keeva are not coming due to Keeva not having a passport yet and being so young. Please keep Randi in your prayers also as her heart is heavy for her husband and family.
Finally, please continue to keep Linda in your prayers. Her heart is broken as anyone can imagine. The entire Brewer family so appreciate their "family" coming together to support them in financial support, love and especially prayers for comfort, peace and wisdom. Please continue all of these and share/forward the need for the continuance of them.

Robee's Memorial service has been scheduled and it will be Saturday, February 8 at 11 AM at Family Cathedral of Praise (790 Windbell Cir, Mesquite "¢ 972-329-1660). Please mark that on your calendar to come and show your love and support to the Brewer family.
Update for All- Thank you everyone for your prayers and support. Please continue to pray for Linda, Ryan, Russell and Rachelle as they face some of the most difficult days of their lives. Rachelle and Rusty did arrive in LA and were meeting late this afternoon with the investigators. Thank you also for the continuing sharing and giving- we have increased the goal (due to multiple requests) and we are less than $2000 from that amount. Pass this on so that others can give if they can.
The LAPD have identified who they believed was the person who murdered Robee. Let's band together and pray that they will find this person quickly and without harm to anyone else.

To All- We have had a lot of request to increase the goal and leave this account up, so we are doing both. All proceeds will go to defer costs for the Brewers through this difficult time as well as help Ryan and Randi's ministry in Thailand. Please continue to forward and share and thank you again for the gifts of love. The Brewer family have expressed their gratefulness to all the support and are amazed at your love.
We do have one more request- Rachelle and Russell will be flying out in the morning (Wednesday) to California to "family identify" Robee's body. Because of the brutal attack, this will be an even more difficult task and one that no person should ever have to do. They will also be setting up the preparation of having him cremated and bringing back the ashes to his mom. Please lift up Rachelle and Rusty tomorrow and cover them, Linda and Ryan in your prayers. We ask that Wednesday and Thursday's specific prayer is for the Holy Spirit's comfort to cover them in their hearts, minds, and emotions and that they will have favor, direction, wisdom and peace needed.
We did it!
Do you know what happens when a part of your body comes under "attack"? Blood flows, cells surround, and other parts of the body begin to alter their normal functions. Together, they use what they have to support the protection, and repairing, of the injured body part.
One of the members of our body, whether church or family or friend or fellow man, suffered a significant attack on Friday. Since then, other members of the body have rushed in, surrounded, and began to support the healing process. In slightly over 24 hours, the message was spread over 640 times (at least from what could be tracked), and nearly 200 people have donated to this family in need for a total of $15,800 (as of 10:30am). LET ME REPEAT THAT: 200 PEOPLE HAVE SELFLESSLY GIVEN WHATEVER THEY COULD, NO MATTER HOW BIG OR SMALL, TO AMOUNT TO NEARLY $16,000. Let that sink in for a moment. Between sharing, donating, and praying (which undoubtedly led the way), over 3,000 people heard the message and were involved in performing a true miracle.
I wish I could properly convey how humbled and grateful the Brewer family is at this moment. From the deepest depths of their hearts, and from that of their family & friends, thank you all for every single dollar, Facebook post, phone call, text, and word of prayer.
We will leave the ability to donate open for those that still wish to do so, as there will be additional expenses that are likely to arise. So please continue to share and spread the news. We will also keep everyone updated as we receive more information on funeral arrangements, etc. Again, thank you all for your selfless giving. God bless.

Wow- We are at $13,005 this morning and less than $2000 away from our goal! I spoke to Ryan last night in Thailand via FB and he and Linda, Rusty and Rachelle are so grateful. Rachelle posted on her FB last night- "It has truly been overwhelming the amount of love and support we have received from friends and family!!! Words cannot begin to describe!! We are honored to have such an amazing support network. As a family, there have been so many ups and downs. As life goes on we become stronger and closer to each other. I will miss Robee! From laughing together to crying together, working together and living together. I am so grateful to have learned from him. He loved like no other. A bond like this could never be broken. No separation could tear it apart and in the words of Whitney Houston...I will ALWAYS love you" . Please help us finish the goal this morning- forward on, share and LET'S DO IT! Most of all, please keep The Brewer family in your prayers this week. Thank you again for your support and love for the family.
We hit the $10,000 mark! Amazing! I only wish that Robee could have seen how much that he and his family are loved. Thank you, thank you- only $5000 more to go to hit the goal. From the bottom of my heart and the Brewer Family, Thank YOU!!!! Please continue to share and post- We are almost there!
Thank you and Thank you!! We are at 57.37% of our goal for the funds needed. This is so overwhelming for Linda and the kids and your love and support and prayers have been amazing. We need $6395 to go- one of my texts said that God must be in this to have raised so much so quickly. I think that God uses people like me and you to show His love for each other and you all certainly have. Please keep sharing so that others can help and I know we can make this goal happen! Thank you again!
We are at $6275 as of 5 PM today. Linda Brewer and the family are so overwhelmed at the love pouring in and have so appreciated the wonderful comments. We have $8725 to reach the goal. Tickets have been booked for Rachelle and Rusty to leave for California to claim Robee's body and do handle the cremation. They will then bring the ashes back to Linda. As a mom myself, I cannot even imagine dealing with this situation without the rocks of her husband or mother but she feels your love. Please continue to share, post and give so that we can have enough to bring Ryan and Randi and kids home to grief with their family and to handle the rest of the expenses. Thank you also for your continuing prayer over them. Thank you!!
For those of you that know the Brewers and the recent events and would like to help, here's how. Even if you don't know them, please read and support if you feel led. Also, please share this on your own Facebook page, Twitter, or email to help spread the word. Thank you in advance for everyone who helps in anyway!
A wonderful, God fearing, loving, giving, selfless family desperately needs your help. On Friday January 24th Robee Brewer (age 21), the youngest son of four children, was found murdered in a California motel room. As you can imagine, this has been quite a detriment for a family that lost their loving father and husband, Russell Brewer, to a 4 year battle with brain cancer and their beloved grandmother/mother within the past year. The Brewer family, would never want to burden anyone by asking themselves, so their friends and family are asking instead. Please help us raise donations so that the Brewer family can reclaim their son/brother from California, celebrate his life and going home together, and lay him to rest.
Starting the week of January 27th, the costs will begin mounting. Rachelle and Rusty (the two middle children) will be flying to California to identify Robee's body. Then they will have him cremated, and bring his ashes back to his mother, Linda Brewer, here in Dallas, TX for a funeral and burial of the ashes. There is one additional need, however: the oldest brother - Ryan - is with his wife and 2 kids (1 less than a month old) in Thailand as they are missionaries helping girls escape the sex slave industry and ministering to them about the love of Jesus Christ. Ryan and his wife, Randi, are desperate to return home for Robee's funeral but do not have the funds to do so.
Since there is no life insurance, the costs to do all of this is high, but the funds are low. This is where you come in. This is where you can help a family in such need. We are trying to reach $15,000 to cover these expenses. Additional funds that are left over will go towards Ryan and Randi's ministry in Thailand. Please help us help the Brewers. Let's rally around the Brewers and show them the love and support they need. No gift is too small if we all work together, so please share this with others via Facebook, Twitter, Email or word of mouth! Thank you and may God bless you.
"And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had, and they sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need. They worshipped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord's Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved." -- Acts 2:44-47
