If you are here, you probably already know our story. We both want a baby more than anything in this world.
For us to live that dream, we must depend on artificial insemination (AI) to become pregnant. Through AI, we were able to conceive over the summer, but sadly that pregnancy was not meant to be.
We took several months to consider our options. We had almost given up when we found a reproductive facility that offers the much needed services. Without their assistance, we may never have the opportunity to expand our family.
Infertility is something no one wants to talk about. But, it is something my family deals with on a daily basis. Not a day goes by that we do not think about the possibilities that lie ahead.
The cost for the reproductive assistance is $1059 per attempt. We are putting a lot of faith in having a successful pregnancy the first time. We know the odds are less than ideal. But, we have to try. Any chance we have to make this dream a reality has to be explored.
