Help us replace our old stove

My husband & I moved into a home which has been in his family for decades. We are renting but have been making improvements and providing the TLC that a home this special deserves. Having our families over & entertaining was a huge draw for the space we are in, but with any older homes some things require work arounds. The kitchen has an older electric stove which is shorting out and has seen better days. We have been trying to save for a newer stove, but this first year has been filled with putting out assorted financial fires.
