Moloka‘i Hoe Team PDBA Outrigger Athlete

Team PDBA Independence, champions of Hawaiian Airlines Liberty Challenge is sending a team to compete in Hawaii's Moloka‘i Hoe, the largest and most competitive outrigger race in the world. The Molokai is the men’s world championship in outrigger canoe racing, with teams from around the globe participating. Moloka‘i Hoe perpetuates one of Hawaii’s and Polynesia’s most important and historic cultural traditions, while honoring canoe paddlers around the world. The Moloka‘i tests the limits of physical and mental strength and endurance, courage determination and teamwork, and paddlers must also battle nature’s most extreme elements.


I am honored to be asked to paddle The Moloka‘i on October 12th as part of team PDBA Independence. Your contribution will help offset some of the costs of traveling several thousand miles in order to compete in this epic event!
