Since I can be a prideful person it took a lot for me to get to this point to reach out for help.
Many of you know the situation and some may not. My father, John, was murdered this past weekend by his own family member way before it was his time to go. He was a good man who made sure we never did with out and was here for anyone who needed him.
He left behind his wife, his granddaughter, and myself, his only child. He loved his famiy more than anything in the world, and all of his family not just his immediate family.
This is going to be a long hard journey ahead for all of us, not to mention costly which is what brings me here now. My grandfather, his father, passed away in May and as that comes my dad was a huge part in planning and helping with all of this. Now I'm trying to do the most I can for my mom, who's now tragically doing the same for him.
Funeral expenses are about $5,000 alone but what I'm more concerned about is helping my mom out with anything I can since my father was our main income leaving her with a mortgage on their house, my grandfathers house that became my fathers, and everything else. I want her to focus on this so I want to be able to contribute as much to laying my dad to rest the way he would have wanted as I can but as you know, I'm a mother of a toddler trying to take care of us while all this is going on.
I know we all get down on our luck or go through hard financial times so anything will help whether it be a few dollars or even blessings and well wishes. Anything that'll help us through these hard times to come.
