313 WATER RELIEF CAMPAIGN-DETROIT

Sisters United of Detroit and Evolution Reign, Inc. have teamed up to be of service to their community and NEED your help! As you may have heard, Detroit's Department of Water and Sewerage have set out to leave Detroit's residents without life's most precious resource; water. Being situated in the Great Lakes Region, Detroit is home to the nations freshest water supply. Recently, the DDWS have began cutting of water services to its residents in an effort to recover monies for unpaid water statements and eventually privatize the city's water company. Of course Detroit's current bankruptcy situation is strategically being tied to every major service that is to be provided to the residents. The State Of Michigans Governor, Rick Snyder and the City of Detroit's State appointed Emergency Manager, Kevyn Orr, are being blamed for the senseless antics being pushed upon this great city's people and the looting of its riches.
To date, the Detroit Department of Water and Sewerage has sent out more than 40,000 shut-off notices to residents including low income families and senior citizens and has set forth a massive shut off campain around the city. This is despite the remaining of services and free flowing water to the big corporations and billionaires. One report claims that there is over $30 million owed to Detroit by billionaire owed corporations...including the State of Michigan itself who is now disputing their own water bill which of course delays payment. This is an OUTRAGE! National attention has been called to this unfortunate invasion upon humanity's basic resource. Our neighboring country Canada has citizens concerned and involved, The United Nations calls this massive shut-off of services a potential health crisis and un-ethical, and the Department of Homeland Security also has concerns about the health risks to people who are without water. WE NEED YOUR HELP NOW!!!! We ask that you donate at least $5 or more to help us to provide water to our residents! $5 will be able to provide one case of water. We are asking for help in distribution processes as well. 
OUR GOAL: We are being totally transparent in our efforts! $200 has started this cause and will provide cases and jugs of preferrably Spring Water. We wish to raise $5000 or MORE! If you are in the city we will accept water donations in lieu of cash. We will be purchasing as much water as we can with the dollars donated and it will be given to a those in need provided they can provide us with proof of their shut-off notices. Depending on the feedback we get from YOU, we may even be able to aid in payment assistance to some lucky families. This is summertime! It is going to be HOT and we CANNOT have our people and community suffering due to lack of nutirents, minerals, clean clothes and the ability to feed themselves! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DONATE TODAY!
