The Harmony & Family Hope Fund

Harmony was flown to mission hospital on 6/30/2014 and given emergency surgery to relieve bleeding and swelling on her brain caused by a severe non-accidental head truama. She went on to Charlotte for rehab for one week (we were prepared for a 6-8 week stay). She has had 4 dilations procedures done to correct subglottic stenosis (They go in and open up her airway so she can breath). They put the bone flap back in on 10/03/14, She had two drains placed to drain out the extra fluid building up on her brain on 09/19/14, They were removed  10/12/14. We are now waiting for drs orders to confirm if she will need a permenent shunt to continue the drainage or if her body can cope without one.  All donations received will be used for bills such as my car payment (we drive a ford taurus nothing fancy) and insurance, gas to get to and from the hospital and her many drs appointments, anything that the girls may need such as diapers, formula, clothes, shoes, any medical bills that harmonys insurance will not cover, and eventually to get us into a place for us to live when we leave our relatives residence. Harmony has come a long way since her injury but she still has a long road of recovery yet to go. I (her mom) cannot return to work until she is cleared to go back to daycare. That could be another couple months at least.
