Blackflies Trip to Cooperstown

The Maine Blackflies are going to Cooperstown!!
Please support our kids in their fundraising efforts to get the team to the AAU games at the Cooperstown Field of Dreams. So far their fundraising efforts have included weekly bottle collection from local restaurants (Local 188, Sonny’s, Salvage BBQ), “tagging’ at local stores (shaking the can!!), and a lemonade stand on Peaks Island. Future efforts will include car washes and another lemonade stand. This web fundraising effort gives a chance for friends and family from further away to support the boys.
The Blackflies are a team of 12 year old ball players from Greater Portland who have been practicing and playing together as the Blackflies since December, with some boys having played together for 4 years on different teams. They have really grown as a team. The team members’ names and their AllStar team affiliations are:
