Equipment Fundraiser

Powell County Search and Rescue is trying to raise money for equipment needs-- We are looking at a way to save some lbs through the woods carrying victims out and equipment in, also. A Titanium Rescue Litter weighs only 13 lbs compared to 32 lbs of the one we have now. As your carrying this equipment and victim a distance the weight gets heavy over time and tiresome, with this litter we save 19 lbs of weight. Along with a shield for the head of the litter for protection this is the equipment we want to try to get as soon as we can to better our team members on victim recovery. If you can help us and make our team members feel better by reducing the strain on their backs and legs, please do. We always want to improve in professional and physical condition of our team.
