Help for Maggie the Cat's Vet Bill

This little kitty was dumped on my doorstep. She was placed inside the basket/makeshift bed I have for the stray cats. That someone left a piece of bread in there with her and it was attracting ants. Some were crawling all over her. She had gunk in her eye.
I took her to the vet immediately. They gave her a bath because she was dirty and covered with fleas. Upon close examination, the vet saw two maggots coming out of her behind. There could be more in there, she warned. I'm hoping for the best! So I agreed to having her confined there. They can watch her closely and give her the care that she needs. She was dehydrated so she needed an intravenous drip. Her veins kept on collapsing, but they finally got a line in through her neck. Poor baby! Once she is stronger they will purge her of the parasites. I pray that she survives.
I am rooting for Maggie. The vet gave her that name because of the maggots. :) At least we can still laugh about it. :)
