As a teacher, mentor and friend, Liz has touched hundreds of lives both on and off the air for years all across America. Please join her family and close friends in donating whatever you can to help Liz in her recovery.
What seemed like an ordinary day moving in her new downsized home/art studio, ended in a very traumatic experience for Liz. She began to experience extreme pain and swelling on her left side. She was rushed to the hospital, where she was admitted into the ICU. Testing revealed that she had approximately 40 pulmonary embolisms and over 30 Deep Vein Thromboses throughout her body, to include her clavicle, her jugular vein, breast, and arm. The cause of these blood clots was unknown, but thankfully, they were able to rule out breast cancer, the leading suspect at the time. While the cause of her condition continues to be explored, Liz is now facing medical bills in the tens of thousands as a result of her hospitalization. Further, she faces years of treatment and blood testing, all with no medical insurance.
Each and every contribution will go towards the medical bills accrued during Liz's treatment and rehab. This unfortunate event has put Liz's dream of building her art studio and continuing The Liz Wilde Show on hold while she is in the hospital and therefore has no income. Your contributions will greatly alleviate the financial stress for Liz as a whole as she now begins her recovery.
