Medical difficulties

A close friend of mine has been having a really rough time with mental health issues and childhood flashbacks lately and over the last few days he experienced a major episode that has required him to be admitted to hospital for a period of time. As a trans guy who is estranged from his family, he has very little support outside that which his friends can give him. He doesn't get sick pay from work so he is likely to run into a lot of financial difficulty while he is recovering and unable to work. As this would put a lot of pressure on him that he doesn't need while trying to regain his health I have set up this funding page to try and raise enough money to cover his rent and medical bills for a few months so that he can focus on what he needs to do to get better. 

I understand that times are tough and people may not be able to give much but every little bit really does help and even the smallest donations are greatly appreciated. If you can't donate for any reason, helping out with signal boosting is also greatly appreciated. 

Apologies for the lack of photos and names but because of the sensitivity of what's happened I believe it is in my friend's best interests to keep him as anonymous as possible to give him the space he needs to get healthy again. Ireland is a really small place and rumours can spread quickly.
