Medical Bills for an Awesome Dad

So my dad, the dapper looking man in the photo above needs some help. The last few months have been rough and have led to some trying times. Here's the long and short of it all.
Some years ago, our family was doing whatever it is that normal families do. We had barbecues in the summer, complained about shoveling snow in the winter, and overall tried to live within our means. Then dad was laid off from where he thought he would be secure and end up retiring from. That was the start of this series of unfortunate events.
Things were going well again, up until the last two years. Dad was hospitalized due to diverticulitis and was rushed into the ER, only a couple of hours from his body going septic. Those hefty bills were paid for, but they certainly changed how we carried on as a family afterwards. Jump ahead to this year and things got a bit worse. His car went on fire in the driveway (thanks to a faulty battery), damaging the driveway, part of the home, and his work van. Thankfully the Mount Sinai Fire Department responded quickly and was able to extinguish the inferno that was once a vehicle. Then things took a bit more of a turn. Dad was disgnosed with a type of cancer targeting his throat, lymph nodes, and other such areas, with insurance only covering part of the staggeringly high costs.
There has been one surgery completed so far, with another one scheduled, not to mention the radiation/chemo still ahead. His diverticulitis has also tried to make a resurgence, and surgery may be required for that as well. Even with everyone in the household trying their best, finances have still been tight. This is because with dad out of work, there is no household income. He is self-employed, and being ill means that he cannot be out and around serving his customers.
This is a man who has gone to the ends of the earth for his family, and now needs some help. He has 3 awesome children; one is an Eagle Scout who completed his bachelor's, is working full time, and pursuing an MBA, a daughter who gives back to the communities she works in and is pursuing a degree geared towards teaching developmentally disabled children, and a second daughter who is still only in high school but certainly following in the footsteps of us older ones. We are looking to help cover the cost of medical bills, and just show him that there is support and thanks for all he has done.
As I learn how this GoFundMe tihng works more, I will try to add reward levels and post up bills so you can maybe see I'm not some punk scammer. As the medical process advances, the goal will be updated up or down accordingly as well.
