DIAMONDBACK LITTLE LEAGUE

Our teams made it to the state and western regional conferences. It was costly and even though they didnt advance... it was worth it. Such a great opportunity for these kids.
While we were fundraising for these trips, our snack bar and equipment bunker were broken into and everything was stolen. We had to use funds budgeted for the trips to restock the snackbar and we borrowed equipment to help finish the tournament we were hosting. We serve many families that have been hit hard by the economy and cannot afford to pay the registration fees. We do not turn any child or family away due to lack of funds. We offer sholarships and in return we ask for them to volunteer and help out with a game or two. We do not get reimbursed for our scholarships so that is just more funding we are lacking.
We have many costs coming up and very limited funds to pay out. We need to pay rent to the school district, pay for uniforms for fall ball, pay APS for the lights, and pay to completely restock our snackbar.
