Documentary Memoir/Startup Budget

The goal of this campaign is to not only raise money for an upcoming documentary memoir but also to fund an independent film company.
First, about the documentary. It is a memoir of a teen, now an adult, who shot and killed someone over twenty years ago. He was exonerated on self defense, diagnosed with PTSD but was never treated for the disease. This documentary will chronicle the events that lead to the murder, the incarceration, trial and the subject's subsequent lifelong battle with depression and suicide.
Achemyelesh Enlightainment (pronounced ash-my-lash) is a startup independent film company that aims to give African American cinema more diversity. Although there is a rich and proud film history detailing the Black experience it could use a little widening. This is not an attack on the status quo. Complaining never solves anything. Action does. If you feel the same way please do what you can to help us with our cause.
Do not let that astronomical number scare you. I know most people will look at the budget goal and think to themselves that what little money they contribute won't help. You could not be further from the truth. Every little bit helps. If one hundred thousand people donates ten dollars each we will exceed our goal. So give whatever you can. Furthermore spread the word. The only way to acheive this is by reaching as many people as possible.
