Please Help Oscar Get To Mountview!

Dearest friends,
It has been my dream for the past five years to move to London and train in Musical Theatre at one of the Capital’s best Drama Schools. That dream seemed like pie in the sky up until earlier this year when I found out I had been awarded a place at the prestigious ‘Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts’ where I will begin my training in September.

Theatre has always been a large part of my life, I have worked consistently in performance since leaving school - working closely with New Street Theatre Company, Lakeside Arts Centre and acclaimed Directors, Playwrights and Producers to research and develop original material for upcoming new musicals, performing as a comedian and compere at cabaret events, developing and performing in the inaugural performance of ‘Bismark’ with Nottingham Playhouse, recording original soundtracks in London for new musicals prior to their release for funding, touring Theatre in Education plays to primary schools, the list goes on. Evidently, theatre and performance are a huge part of my life and I am resolute in my commitment to succeed in this industry. One of my proudest endeavours is building up a large teaching portfolio, working freelance in schools and also at Newark Academy of Performing Arts and Sleaford School of Theatre Arts, writing and directing plays, showcases, musicals and pantomimes for the children to perform.

Needless to say I am totally ecstatic to be finally going to Drama School, especially one as reputable and renowned as ‘Mountview’ – I feel like all that hard work is beginning to pay off! I intend to make the most of this incredible opportunity, however, in order to do so; I need help to get there! I have been working tirelessly to raise funds for the inevitably expensive tuition fees and living costs with all manner of projects. I have managed, through work and family, to raise a significant amount to put towards the ‘Drama School Fund’ but I’m nowhere near realising the necessary amount.
I am not asking for a massive donation – anything, from pennies to pounds would help!
If you would be able to spare something to help me on my way, I would be eternally grateful.
