Ashley's Leap of Faith

My name is Ashley Harris and I am a Senior studying Business at Middle Tennessee State University. I will be graduating on December 14, 2013 with a Bachelor of Business Administration. I was recently accepted to one of the premiere culinary arts schools in New York City. This was an overwhelming accomplishment for me because The Culinary Institute of America is my dream school. As a young girl I spent most of my time in my grandmother's kitchen as she taught me recipes to her warm soulful cooking instead enjoying the luxury of outside playing with my siblings and from then on my passion for culinary arts was discovered. How does a girl go from studying business to cooking I'm sure you're wondering? Although, my passion is cooking, I am also very business savvy. In the near future I plan to own and manage my own business by opening up healthy home-style cooking restaurants in inner cities.

I urge you to consider me as a candidate for a potential sponsorship. This is something I am very adamant about and I will be gracious for any monetary donation given. The Culinary Institute of America is located in Hyde Park, NY where the tuition is $70,000 and that does not cover traveling and housing expenses. I know that I am taking a leap of faith moving from Tennessee all the way to New York City where I do believe I can achieve any endeavors set in my path.
I know with your help that I can make this possible and this move can go from a dream to a reality. In the near future when my restaurant is open it will be because you took the time to believe in me and my dreams.
