Sheltered Voices Documentary

Shakimono and Gypsy Sun are the husband and wife duo known as Ashe' Jam Band and can easily be considered the voice of the people in the struggle against oppression. They are coined as the "Social Studies of Hip Hop n Rock Music", with their rebellious n revolutionary message. The couple is raising funds to complete their first mixtape album, accompanied with a music video and their promotional autobiography documentary, "SHELTERED VOICES" (to become a feature film and tv series highlighting true stories from other oppressed people)

The Dynamic Duo, spent three years in the homeless shelter system and now have a beautiful studio apartment in Queens NYC.
The documentary will discuss their life before, during, and after homelessness and their work towards building a non profit organization with a MUSIC & ARTS EDUCATION and ADVOCACY that will assist children and families in the NYC homeless shelter system and others in need.
Some families (with and without children) are facing difficulties with obtaining housing with rental assistance vouchers, such as MRT & LINC.
80% of voucher recipients can't find housing because of gentrification, and landlords and rental agencies requiring potential tenants to have a 650 credit score and MINIMUM $55,000 in annual income.
The average person working full time earning $9.00 per hour receives $17,280 per year, and that's before taxes.
Hands down, this CD, Documentary , and Non Profit is not only NEEDED but right on time, especially with the controversies of police brutality and the stigmas of crime and poverty plaguing economically deprived communities.
Everyone knows what the problem is, but who has the courage to be the solution? Or at least support one.
Through their efforts as entertainers, spiritualist, and educators, the goal for ASHE' is to use this music project, documentary, and non profit as the remedy, with a HEALING RESULT.
To cover the production of this project and ones in the future, equipment is needed and appreciated.
Your donations can make a difference in manifesting this vision of SHA VISION ENTERTAINMENT and eventually, their non profit organization known as the ELECTRIC CAMP MUSIC & ARTS! Subscribe to the updates and share in the joy of this journey!
