WWII Camp Museum Hut Vandalised

*WWII Museum Building Vandlised*
Its with a very heavy heart that we have to report one of our buildings have been vandalised. Heartless soles ripped apart walls, light fittings, smashed up the potbelly stove in the Woodern hut on the camp, they even knocked out central structural posts that support the roof and hold the walls up, even bust the locks. We are heartbroken after all the hard work, dedication and passion that the late Bob James went to with creating the WWII camp and helping other re-enacting groups have a place to recreate the love of WWII history.
Unfortunately the hut will not be included in the school or the planned future Veteran tours or on view to the public until we can make it safe, we are just thankful the children have not been playing down at the camp as we don't want to think what could of happened if the hut had collapsed.
As a non-profit organisation we have had to put on hold the new toilets & disabled toilets due to funds rasied now having to be used to restore this building, it such a sad world we have to share with these twisted individuals I hope they are really proud of themselves.

We are also holding are next Camp Auto Jumble & collectors Flea Market fundraiser on 17th Feb
