Please Help Send Me To Bristol Old Vic Theatre School!
My name is Asha Cluer and I am from Perth in Western Australia. In 2012 I moved to London to pursue a career in the arts as an actor.
I have spent four years working so hard in the independent fringe theatre sector and I have loved every minute of it! It hasn't always been glamourous, it hasn't always (nearly never) paid well, but it has been a welcome challenge and incredible experience.
This year, I decided that the next necessary step for me to take was to apply to formally train as an actor and I am delighted to say that I have been offered a place on the One Year (40 Weeks) Masters in Professional Acting (Interational) Course at the renowned Bristol Old Vic Theatre School!
Each year this course accepts roughly 15 people, half of which are female, so I feel so incredibly lucky and honoured to have been offered my place.
However, in order to attend Bristol Old Vic and realise my life-long dream of a succesful acting career, I need YOUR HELP!
I need to raise £8,000 or approximately $16,000 AUD to help cover my course fees (a whopping £19,500 for the year).
I would be so grateful if you had the time to contribute whatever you could spare to my campaign. Any amount, no matter how small (or big!) I would appreciate greatly and would help me to achieve my goal.

Course Fees (£19,500)
- £6,500 - Deposit, already paid by myself
- £8,000 - Crowd Funding!
- £5,000 - Australia Council Development Grant - application made and awaiting response. Back up plan: Corporate Sponsorship
Living Costs (£8,000)
- £2,000 - to be earnt with parttime work during study
- £3,500 - Ian Potter Culutral Trust
- £2,500 - Australia Council Development Grant - application made and awaiting response. Back up plan: Corporate Sponsorship
NB. As an International Student unfortunately I am ineligible for student loans or regular bank loans in the UK.
