Kanin Asay's Medical Expense Fund

I am writing to request donations for some dear friends of mine, fellow rodeo family, the Asay’s. Kanin Asay is a Professional Bull Rider who has had a rough summer run with two separate injuries.

On June 27th at Reno Rodeo Kanin was stepped on by a bull ripping his ear two-thirds of the way off. He was taken by ambulance to the ER where he had reconstructive surgery to his ear. This required 200+ stiches, an overnight hospital visit, taking time off and several follow-ups. Praise to the Lord, his ear is healing well!
 




Just a few nights ago, on August 20th, Kanin was knocked unconscious for nearly 10 minutes on his reride bull in Canby, OR. He was taken by ambulance and then life flighted to a hospital in Portland, OR.  Amazingly, his only injuries were a concussion and a sprained neck. He was released the following day. Kanin and family are currently resting in Boise until Kanin feels well enough to travel home. 
 
Kanin and Sydney are a wonderful young couple who love God with all their hearts.  As Sydney said “Praise God he is ok. We don't understand why these things happen, but we know we have a God who loves us and will not fail us.” Prayers would be greatly appreciated as this family prays upon and decides their next path.

They are grateful for the insurance through the PRCA however this will only cover a small portion of the bills to come.
